J1 Visa under Teacher Exchange Program (Also called Cultural Exchange Program). This visa is issued for a period of 3 years initially and can be extended by another two years. During the program the visiting teachers will use their expertise in the content area and their teaching experience in their home country to the benefit of the students in the American classrooms. The exchange teacher will get an opportunity to learn about the American school system, experience the American culture, share the diverse Indian culture with the American students and colleagues.  At the end of the J1 program the Exchange Teacher must return to their home country to share their experience in the United States with their students and community in their home country.

H1B Visa which is a work visa granted initially for 3 years and the teachers will be eligible to extend their visa for another 3 years if the school is willing to retain them.
